We are pleased to announce that Lakshay Tomar has joined NARA Solicitors as an Immigration Paralegal, strengthening our litigation and advisory capacity as the firm continues to grow.

Lakshay joins our Canary Wharf office while finalising his admission as a Solicitor of England and Wales. He has passed the SQE1, the first stage of the Solicitors Qualifying Examination, and has been granted an exemption from the SQE2 based on his prior qualifications and professional experience.

He holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Kent and brings expertise in legal research, drafting submissions for senior courts, and providing strategic advice to clients on complex matters.

NARA Solicitors was founded in 2024 by Sukhvinder Singh Nara, a lawyer dual qualified in England and Wales and in India. We specialise in business and personal immigration and are regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

Last year, we were named "Best New Business" at the Legal Growth Awards 2025. Since then, we have broadened our work across sponsor licence applications, compliance audits, and immigration challenges brought through the Pre-Action Protocol and judicial review.

Lakshay's appointment comes as we continue to grow our team to meet rising demand from businesses and individuals navigating changes to the UK immigration system.

Speaking on the appointment, our practice manager, Ravina said:

"At NARA Solicitors, every appointment we make is about our clients. Lakshay brings the kind of legal mind we want on our side of the table, sharp, well-trained, and committed to getting results. We are proud to invest in talent like his and to give bright lawyers the platform they need to grow with us."

His background in constitutional litigation and writ practice will support our work on a broad range of immigration matters.

We are looking forward to working with Lakshay and to the contribution he will make to client outcomes at NARA Solicitors. Please join us in welcoming him to the firm.
