We are proud to share another success story from Nara Solicitors.

Our client's application under the Global Talent route has been approved. And they were not the only ones. Their dependants were granted alongside them, so the whole family can now build their life in the UK together.

The Home Office decision confirms permission to stay in the UK under the Global Talent route until 27 September 2031.

For our client, this means more than a visa. It means the freedom to work, build and plan for the future, with their family by their side.

Why the Global Talent Route Matters

The Global Talent visa is for people who are leaders, or potential leaders, in academia or research, arts and culture, or digital technology. It is one of the most flexible routes in the UK immigration system.

Unlike the Skilled Worker visa, it does not need a job offer or an employer to sponsor you. Once the visa is granted, you can:

  • work for an employer, and change jobs

  • be self-employed

  • start and run your own business

  • bring your partner and children with you as dependants

This is why many founders and professionals see it as one of the best routes for building a successful business in the UK. You are not tied to one employer, and you can shape your career on your own terms.

The route can also lead to settlement. So for families, it offers a clear path to a long-term future in the UK.

Our Approach

A Global Talent application is only as strong as its evidence. Most applicants must first be endorsed by a Home Office approved endorsing body, unless they hold an eligible prize. The visa application then follows.

Dependants apply on the basis of their relationship to the main applicant. The Home Office will check that the relationship is genuine and that each family member meets the requirements of the route.

Our team handled the main application and the dependant applications together. Our focus was simple. Every application had to be complete, consistent and backed by the right documents, so the Home Office could make a clear decision for the whole family.

The Outcome

The applications were successful. Our client has been granted permission to stay in the UK under the Global Talent route until 27 September 2031, with their dependants granted alongside them.

The family's immigration status is held digitally as an eVisa. Their next step is to set up a UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) account for each family member, so they can view and prove their status whenever they need to.

This was a proud moment for our client, and for our team.
