We are proud to share another success story from NARA Solicitors.

We recently helped a client secure her Skilled Worker visa, and the decision came through within just two working days of her biometric appointment. For anyone who has waited on a Home Office decision, you will know how rare and welcome that kind of speed is.

Our client first came to the United Kingdom in 2023 under the Skilled Worker route. She had been working here on that basis when, in 2026, she secured a new job with a different employer.

A change of employer is not something you can do quietly on your existing visa. Under the Skilled Worker route, when you move to a new sponsor you usually need to make a fresh application, supported by a new Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) from that employer. Her new employer assigned the CoS in May 2026, and she then instructed us to handle the application.

Once we received her instructions, our immigration team reviewed her circumstances and the details of the newly assigned Certificate of Sponsorship. We checked that the CoS matched the role and the requirements of the Immigration Rules, and we advised her on exactly what the application would involve.

We then prepared the application and made sure every piece of supporting documentation was accurate and submitted correctly. Small errors on a Skilled Worker application can lead to delays or, in some cases, a refusal. So we paid close attention to the detail of each document before anything was sent to UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI).

Throughout the process we kept her informed and gave clear guidance at each step. The aim was simple. A complete, accurate application, with no gaps that might slow things down.

If you are changing employers and need help with a Skilled Worker visa application, our team can guide you through it from start to finish.

After we submitted the application, our client attended her biometric appointment. From there, the Home Office processed her case quickly. We are delighted to report that a successful decision was received within just two working days of her biometric appointment.

She was granted permission to continue working in the UK under the Skilled Worker route with her new employer. That meant she could move into her new role without disruption, which was exactly what she needed.
