Sponsor Licence Compliance Audits

We conduct internal Home Office-style audits to identify weaknesses in your systems and ensure full compliance with sponsor licence duties.

Sponsor Licence Compliance Audits

Holding a sponsor licence comes with ongoing compliance duties. The Home Office can conduct a compliance visit at any time, and failure to meet your obligations can result in suspension, downgrading, or revocation of your licence.

A compliance audit helps you identify and fix any gaps before the Home Office finds them.

What We Audit

We conduct internal Home Office-style audits to identify and address any weaknesses in your current systems. This includes reviewing your HR processes, right to work checks, record-keeping, reporting practices, and the systems you use to monitor sponsored workers.

We check that your key personnel are up to date, that your SMS (Sponsorship Management System) records are accurate, and that you are meeting your reporting duties to the Home Office within the required timeframes.

Why It Matters

Many licence holders only discover compliance failures when the Home Office conducts an unannounced visit. By then, the damage is already done. A proactive audit gives you the opportunity to put things right before an official inspection takes place.

This is particularly important if you have recently taken over sponsorship responsibilities, changed key personnel, or experienced staff turnover in your HR team.

After the Audit

Following our audit, we provide a detailed report outlining any areas of non-compliance, together with clear recommendations for bringing your systems up to standard. We can also assist with implementing the changes needed.
