The Paralegal will assist the Solicitors in delivering high-quality legal services to clients. The role involves a variety of tasks such as legal research, drafting documents, organising files, and managing client communications. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills, along with a deep understanding of legal procedures and terminology.
The duties of the ‘Paralegal ’ will include the following:
- Assist immigration solicitors in conducting legal research and preparing legal documents.
- Collect and organise client information and documentation for visa applications.
- Communicate with clients, immigration authorities, and other stakeholders as required.
- Provide administrative support, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and maintaining client files.
- Assist with the preparation of immigration appeals and tribunal documentation.
- Undertake initial assessments of client cases and conduct legal research.
- Liaise with relevant authorities to track the progress of visa applications.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in immigration laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth functioning of the immigration department.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional and ethical standards.
This role will require a minimum of 1 year of experience as a ‘Paralegal’ with the following:
- Relevant legal qualification.
- Knowledge of UK immigration law and procedures.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and case management software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
